In the table below you will find the medium exchange rates for the most usual currencies to the FCFA. (The FFR is already history !). The banks are charging fees (up to 15% for Traveller Checks). There are some small "Bureaux d'échange" in Cotonou, where you may get cheaper rates. We pay 655 FCFA for one Euro and 400 FCFA for the CHF. :
